About Us

Meet our executive planner, Amanda

Amanda Scarpaci is the founder and executive event planner here at Scarpaci Designs. She started this business shortly after graduating college, and has immersed herself completely in the world of event planning for the last seven years. From weddings, to baby showers, to first birthdays, Amanda does it all.

Amanda has a drive for event organization and management, with a specialty in timeline execution and creative conceptualization. She loves coming up with themes and designs to match a client’s personality and vision. One of her favorite parts of event planning is the ability to take an idea and bring it to life in a unique and fun way.

Amanda’s talents include cake baking and decorating, balloon artwork and installations, favor making, Day Of Coordination, and can play a mean intro to “Super Trooper” by ABBA on guitar.

Amanda attended Montclair State University where she graduated with a degree in Communication and Media Arts and a minor in Psychology.

Some of her favorite activities include sailing and traveling to complete her bucket list of visiting all 50 states (she’s 22 states down!), dressing up her hairless cat, Sonny, acting and voice over work, using any excuse to throw a social gathering, and reading and creative writing.

Hailey Ruderman has been assisting with Scarpaci Designs since 2021. She loves to help Amanda with anything needed, including sending her 10 different words that rhyme with balloon when coming up with a name for her balloon company, June Balloon. Her favorite part of event planning is watching the client’s vision come to life and seeing their reactions to their decorated event!

Hailey graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Professional Writing. 

Some of her favorite activities include bullet journaling, calligraphy, crafting with her Cricut machine, writing, going to concerts, doing hair and makeup, and exploring new places. 

Brooke Walker has been working with Scarpaci Designs since 2023 and has been working in the events business since 2019. She is a lover of every stage of event planning, including seeing the early ideas to getting to watch Amanda and her client’s visions come to life! 

Brooke is currently studying Speech Pathology at The College of New Jersey where she is also a part of TCNJ’s dance company, Synergy, TCNJ Musical Theater, and is a peer mentor in the Career and Community Studies program. 

Some of her favorite past times include dancing and singing at all hours of the day and night, (which she is sure her neighbors love), being with her friends and family, and saying yes to every opportunity as it arises!
